ONE-SENTENCE PITCH
Dodge swarms of arcane bullets, stitch spells on the fly, and survive a dungeon that rewrites itself whenever its sardonic feline architect gets bored.
OVERVIEW
In spellloom you step into the robes of a rookie Spellweaver hired to stress-test a shape-shifting dungeon run by a mischievous talking cat. Each run mixes three pillars:
- Combat – twin-stick movement, bullet-hell patterns, screen-filling bosses.

- Spell crafting – snap Essences and Aspects into the Spellbinder grimoire to forge chain lightning, ricocheting meteors, fractal shields and more.

- Exploration – themed floors (Castle, Cozy Chambers, Sewer, Sci-Fi Lab and more), secret rooms, teleport orbs and a shop that grows pricier the more you raid it.

Die, rebuild, dive again – every attempt louder than the last.

- Smarter shop – each Essence or Aspect you buy raises the price of similar items by 25 percent
- Late-game rebalance – enemies beyond floor 4 hit harder and live longer
- Synergy fix – Essences can no longer reduce mana costs to 0
- Brightness pass – stronger torches and ambient light

- Spell system overhaul – Essences set a spell’s core, Aspects are modular modifiers
- Synergy system – compatible Essences boost specific Aspect types; tooltips show full math
- Starter pool expanded – 37 Aspects unlocked at game start, 58 total in demo
- 20 new Aspects – Chain Lightning, Singularity Field, Crescendo Shot, CryoLock and more
- Four new enemy types wielding the new Aspects
- Exponential floor difficulty, visibility upgrade, cheaper special rooms, ongoing performance fixes
ROADMAP
The long-term plan is fluid – spellloom will keep expanding as feedback rolls in.
